Ce’Cile Talks About Rumors, New Album, & Being a Cebrelity

all woman: So, the word on the street is that you’re pregnant by Mr Price.

Ce’Cile: (Laughs) That is just another rumour. For the record, I have never had anything with Bounty Killer and I don’t want his baby mother to think that the rumours are true. At the same time, I don’t believe I have to start a rumour to generate publicity. Being honest and letting my music speak is what I do.

A few weeks ago Ce’Cile had to defend herself against rumors that she was knocked up for Rodney Price aka Bounty Killer that she started or was misquoted or some crap.

Well Ce’Cile finally caught up with the Jamaica Observer to talk the talk. She talked about her new album, how she love to sing about being a skettel even though she’s “not promiscuous” … Yawn yawn yawn! And oh yeh, Life as a Cebrelity!

Somebody please tell me when Ce’Cile became a celebrity, is this some random term being thrown around in Jamaica now?

I guess anybody can cut two song and all of a sudden be propelled into Cebrelity status.

On her cebrelity life Ce’Cile states…

all woman: As a celebrity, how challenging is it to keep your personal life private?
Ce’Cile: For me, it’s not very challenging. I believe that if you don’t put your business out there from the get-go, you shouldn’t have a problem. Even though I do go out with my friends, I am always in the studio working. I don’t drink, I don’t smoke and am not promiscuous as people might assume. For me, it will be very interesting to see what the next rumour will be (Laughs).

I’m going to go practice some tunes right now, you never know, I could be the next Jamaican Cebrelity.
